Tell us about your trip.

It was a happy accident. I was thinking about what to do after a long job in a bank. Then I had a chance Zumba, began the course and began teaching. That student who took part in my first class, who said so many wonderful things after class, made me believe that I was born to do that. I was here to change lives, to make people more fit, healthier and happier. Then there was no looking back.

What role has Zumba played in your fitness career?

Zumba is great dance fitness format. It’s so much more for me too – it changed my life. I got into the world of Zumba fitness and it taught me how to do fun fitness.

How is your daily life?

I had a baby a year ago, so it’s different compared to the one I didn’t care for now. I gave birth to a baby in July 2020, at the peak of the first Covid wave and started working a month later. I have lost 10+ pounds of gain pregnancy working from home. I had my fitness ability for cardio and then I got dumbbells to train my strength and did yoga twice a week.

I wake up to feed, play, bathe, feed again and go to bed at ten in the morning to take my first nap. Then I go to the gym or get calls for work. I have lunch at 1:30 pm, feed him, and call him back to work.

After finishing work by seven in the afternoon, my time is Yona’s daughter. Most of the time we are in bed by 10:30 pm. So my life today revolves around him, training, and work (in that order).

What inspires you about fitness?

So many things:

Maintaining good health implies good immunity and generally makes us stronger to deal with certain diseases and conditions. So today people are aware of why daily movement and fitness are key. It’s not, ‘I have a special moment and I need to lose a few pounds’. It’s all about becoming a fitness habit.

What was the idea of ​​relaunching the Belly Burn program in Cult.fit?

Everyone wants a flat stomach, washing machine abs, six packs. While this is entirely possible, it will require a lot of effort and work. The Belly Burn program does not promote spot reduction, which is impossible. It helps build a strong core and as we exercise to get a strong core, a lot of belly fat will disappear. The program also promotes HIIT – these are high-intensity and low-intensity workouts. Strong bursts of energy use more fat as fuel and the breaks in between to help extract muscle debris.

It is based on burning whole body fat and strengthening the core. And that’s what people who experienced it for the first time did. We had over 30,000 people in attendance and actively participated with us to get better workouts, using meal plans and group discussions.
